Introduction

The School of Economics & Business Administration(SEBA) of Central China Normal University (CCNU) can be traced back to the Economics Department of Huazhong University founded in 1930s. In 1985, several years after the reform and opening-up, CCNU set up the Department of Real Estate Operation & Administration, which provided the first real property program in China, to meet the rapid social and economic development in China. In 1993, the Economics Department was established, which was soon merged with the Department of Urban Economic Administration into the School of Economics in 1997. In May of 2012, the School of Economics & Business Administration establishedbased on the restructuring the related curricula of the economics and business administration at the university level.

   In SEBA there are 6 departments(Economics, Urban Economics Administration, Business Administration, International Economics & Trade , Accounting, Finance) and fiveresearch centers.As to postgraduate programs, SEBA now offers one doctoral program which is Economic and Social Statistics and two master programs of the primary discipline which are TheoreticalEconomics and Applied Economics, consisting of nineteen master programs of the secondary disciplines and also two professional master programs which are MBA and MAE. SEBAhasone provincial Key Academic Disciplines (Applied Economics), one provincialKey Research Base of Humanities and Social Science(Center of Hubei Real PropertyDevelopment Research) ,oneprovincialRenowned Program(Real Property Operation & Administration), six undergraduate programs and three interdisciplinary undergraduate programs(Mathematics-Economics Program, Japanese-International Trade Program, Law-Economics Program). So far, there is a total faculty of 79 including 68full-time faculties. There are 18 professors, 25 associate professors, 38 master's supervisors, 6 doctoral supervisors, 2 winners of the Special Allowances of the State Council and 3 winners of the Ministerial of Education Program for New Centurial Excellent Talents.
